3 TYPES OF

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES (ALDs)
Although hearing aids are becoming more efficient, the fact remains that some situations may remain difficult. The problems encountered could be better solved through assistive listening devices.
FOR INSTANCE :
You can watch television from a certain distance (wireless). A transmitter is connected and sends information to a headset. Multiples models are available to fit your tastes. Two technologies are used to transmit the signal: infrared technology and FM radio wave. They both offer different advantages. You will determine which one is better for you with your audioprosthesist.
This system can be connected to lights in the house or worn as a pager. Both systems send an alert when the phone, the doorbell or the fire alarm rings.
Other auditory assistive listening devices are available. Please, consult a hearing professional to determine if you need one of these devices.
You will face a whole range of different sounds in your life. At school, work, home, outside or leisure, these sounds can reach a high level of intensity, thus damaging your hearing. You must protect it.
Noise-canceling hearing protectors
Custom-made thanks to a mold of your ear, they ensure maximum protection and comfort. A few options are available: rope, extraction handle, ventilation, voice filter, metal detector ready. The number one choice of workers.
Some governmental organizations can refund the purchase price, replacement and maintenance costs of your hearing aids.
